Peter McKenzie (né le 1er août 1850 à Lévis et décédé le 20 décembre 1930 à Montréal) est un commerçant de fourrures et un prospecteur. En 1903, il découvre du minerai de cuivre au lac Chibougamau. Sa découverte lance l'exploration minière intensive et le développement industriel de la région.
